Thailand's Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa is a 10-year renewable visa for four categories of applicants: wealthy global citizens, wealthy pensioners, work-from-Thailand professionals, and highly skilled professionals. The Work-From-Thailand category is designed specifically for remote workers earning from foreign employers.

The Work-From-Thailand LTR requires a minimum annual income of $80,000 USD in each of the past 2 years. Applicants must be employed by or contracted to a company incorporated outside Thailand for at least 3 years. A lower income threshold (from $40,000 USD) applies if the applicant holds a master's degree or patent.
LTR Work-From-Thailand visa holders are currently exempt from Thai personal income tax on foreign-sourced income remitted to Thailand. This is a significant benefit versus standard Thai long-stay visas. This tax benefit is offered by the Thai government and subject to change. We do not provide tax advice; consult a Thai tax advisor.
LTR visa holders must report to immigration every 90 days (or can use the online reporting system). We provide guidance on the reporting process as part of our service.
Yes. Up to 4 dependants (spouse and children) can be included in an LTR application. Dependants receive a 5-year LTR visa. Additional fees apply for each dependent.
