Malta's Nomad Residence Permit is for eligible non-EU, non-EEA and non-Swiss nationals working remotely for foreign employers, companies or clients. Applicants must meet the current gross annual income requirement and provide qualifying health insurance and accommodation evidence.
What income do I need to qualify?
Residency Malta currently requires a minimum gross annual income of €42,000 for new Nomad Residence Permit applications. The older €32,400 requirement applies only to applications submitted before 1 April 2024. Ask about current family eligibility and documentation before applying.
Can I bring family to Malta on this permit?
