- A GTIN identifies a product or variant. Official GS1 registration is not the same as generating an unofficial barcode image. The Nomadic fee is for assistance with the standard route, not a promise that an issuer or registry will accept the application.
- Are issuer or registry charges included?
- The GS1 US single-GTIN reference charge is USD 30. The issuer charge is separate from the $199 Nomadic setup fee and route eligibility must be confirmed.
